New Market Trading (NMT) is our DeFi platform that automates and simplifies yield generation through secure, permissioned smart wallets. Built on a Gnosis Safe-based architecture, NMT lets users delegate DeFi actions to approved operators — who can execute strategies across Aave, Uniswap, and Cow Protocol — but can never withdraw funds. All permissions are enforced on-chain, across Base, Ethereum, Arbitrum, and Optimism.

This is real infrastructure, used by real users. We're not building demos.

The Role

We're looking for a Senior Web3 Engineer (Full Stack) to own the frontend application and the data layer that powers it.

This is a hands-on engineering role. You'll be responsible for translating complex on-chain data into clean, intuitive experiences that make DeFi actually usable. You'll work directly with our backend team (Rust indexer) and the founding team to ship features that matter.

What You'll Work On

Frontend Engineering

• Own and maintain the Next.js (App Router) + React + TypeScript codebase

• Build scalable, high-performance UI for DeFi workflows and dashboards

• Implement wallet integrations — MetaMask, WalletConnect, Coinbase Wallet, and more

• Hold a high bar for code quality, testing, and performance

DeFi & Data Integration

• Turn raw on-chain data into user-facing dashboards — P&L, APY, positions, the works

• Integrate with DeFi protocols including Uniswap, Aave, and Yearn

• Work across RPC, event logs, subgraphs, and indexed data sources

• Handle numerical precision correctly — token decimals, pricing, calculations

Product Development

• Build core features: portfolio tracking, yield opportunities, transactions, and delegation

• Collaborate directly with leadership on product and UX decisions

• Improve real-time data handling and overall application performance

Collaboration & Ownership

• Work closely with backend engineers on API and data design

• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions

• Contribute meaningfully to architecture and scalability decisions

What We're Looking For

• 4+ years building Web3 or crypto-native products

• Proven experience shipping production applications to real users

• Strong command of TypeScript, React, and Next.js

• Solid experience working with on-chain data — RPC, logs, subgraphs, multicall

• Good understanding of wallets, transaction lifecycle, gas, and token standards (ERC-20, ERC-4626)

• Familiarity with DeFi primitives — liquidity pools, lending, yield strategies

• The ability to take complex blockchain data and make it feel simple to the end user

Bonus points if you have:

• Experience at a crypto exchange, DeFi protocol, or analytics platform

• Familiarity with Gnosis Safe or smart wallet infrastructure

• Experience with EIP-712 signing

• Background in DeFi aggregators or yield platforms

• Real-time data systems or financial dashboard experience

• Contributions to Web3 open-source projects
